Hello everyone, great that you are looking at our site.

Let us introduce ourselves: we are Margot and Jaap. Together we have 4 adult sons and we live in Brielle.

Together for many years and with a large shared ”Leidenschaft”: the love for the mountains and Carinthia & East Tyrol in particular. This started in our youth.

Jaap was born in Switzerland and maybe it has something to do with that. This resulted in many holidays to Switzerland. As a young boy, walking may not have been his favorite activity, but surfing on the lakes was even more so.

Margot and her parents went on holiday to a small campsite in Afritz am See for many years. The beautiful Afritzer See is a 20-minute drive from our house. At that time, it was not so common for your parents to go abroad with an entire family. We are very grateful that they gave us this experience.

Often dreaming about a house in Austria, but because of all the other things that keep us busy, we had not yet gotten around to looking.

It all really became concrete when we went to look at a house near Hermagor in early 2023. Unfortunately, that house passed us by. In retrospect it had to be that way because after our own ”dream house search” campaigns, with short trips to Carinthia in the following months, house ”St Peter” near Bad Kleinkirchheim was the last one left.

We actually bought our little paradise in the summer of 2023.

Unfortunately, we can’t be there very much for the time being, because we are both still working, but we are very happy that we can share our house with other lovers of Austria and the mountains by renting it out.

The view and the surroundings are really great. Sitting in the living room of the house is like looking at a painting. But it is the beautiful nature that you see. No TV can compete with that.

Walking, mountain biking, water sports, golf, skiing, wellness, etc., it is all available within 15 minutes. You can find much more information about the area and the house on our website.
